#2657 Stop using base-scoped searches and searches by DN in sysdb
Closed: Invalid None Opened 8 years ago by jhrozek.

This is a subtask related to ticket #2656.

We should not care what the DN value is in SSSD in order to be able to use unique attributes in RDN instead of DN. In order to that, we need to first inspect all base searches by DN.

We're switching to FQDNs in the cache..so this ticket hardly makes sense since the RDN format will be unique across the cache.

No, we should really keep using base searches because those amount to a single lookup in tdb.

I propose we close this ticket as invalid.
