#2577 syntax checking for sssd.conf
Closed: Duplicate None Opened 9 years ago by tobyblake.

Hi there,

We'd like to use sssd in our organisation and specifically use our locally developed configuration management tools to manage sssd.conf across a large number of clients. What would be really useful for us would be some kind of syntax checking option built into the sssd suite of tools so that after configuration we could run the syntax checking tool prior to restarting sssd and back out to the previous version if it failed the check. Something analogous to 'slaptest', as provided by openldap, if you're familiar with that.

Thanks

This is a duplicate of ticket #133. Thank you for filing the bug, though.
