#2544 GPO: libsmbclient logs to stdout by default, cluttering gpo_child output
Closed: Fixed None Opened 8 years ago by jhrozek.

Seems like libsmb debugs to stdout by default. Post-initialization, this can be changed by calling smbc_setOptionDebugToStderr() but the problem is that DEBUG messages are printed unconditionally to stdout during initialization.

What makes matter even more interesting is that opening the file that fails happens after the global config file /etc/samba/smb.conf, which means that once admin sets up logging in smb.conf, gpo_child always prints to stdout.
