#2505 Check it ${sysconfdir} and other autoconf/automake variables are expanded correctly
Closed: wontfix 4 years ago by pbrezina. Opened 9 years ago by sbose.

${sysconfdir} style autoconf/automake variables are only expanded correctly in Makefiles and configure scripts. It has to be checked if they are expanded correctly when used at other places.

It has to be noted that the redhat-rpm-config package makes sure that all the configure path options are used with Red Hat/Fedora default values. In this case no expansion is needed because all variable are set explicitly. Only when configure is used manually e.g. sysconfdir is defined as ${prefix}/etc and here ${prefix} must still be expanded.
