#2207 The systemd unit file should contain ConditionPathExists=/etc/sssd/sssd.conf
Closed: Invalid None Opened 10 years ago by jhrozek.

We don't ship any config file with the SSSD because there's no way we can guess a reasonable configuration. At the same time, some installation options chkconfig SSSD on, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1053861

We should make sure the sssd service fails gracefully without attempting to start sssd at all by using ConditionPathExists=/etc/sssd/sssd.conf in the config file.

The bug turned out to be authconfig issue. Closing.
