#195 Write converter for config_file_version=1 to config_file_version=2
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by sgallagh.

We are migrating to a more easily-readable config file format. We need a tool that can be used to update existing configurations to the new format.

Available options for the SSSD Config file V2
sssd.api.conf

Available options for the SSSD Config file V2 (ldap provider)
sssd-ldap.conf

I've attached two files that have a complete listing of the new names for the config options for the SSSD proper, and the LDAP providers. Kerberos options will be similar (I just haven't written the schema list for them yet) The attached files are the input files for the forthcoming config API to specify the available options for each section.

Removing documentation requirement for this bug.

The upgrade script is invoked automatically when updating packages, or it can be run with the --help argument to get a full guide on how to use it.
