#1771 Negative cache messages are displayed at too low of a DEBUG level
Closed: Fixed None Opened 7 years ago by sgallagh.

When a request comes in that is answered by the negative cache, an sssd_nss.log message is generated at the SSSDBG_MINOR_FAILURE log level. This is very noisy, since negative cache messages are very common. It would be better to log this at the SSSDBG_TRACE_FUNC level, I think.

(Wed Jan 16 07:35:37 2013) [sssd[nss]] [nss_cmd_getgrnam_search] (0x0040): Group [pulse-rt] does not exist in [redhat.com]! (negative cache)
