#1637 Automatically check for translatable sources added into po/POTFILES.in

The list of files that are scanned for translatable strings is currently hardcoded in po/POTFILES.in. That is error prone. There should be a way to either automate creating the file or at least check if we didn't miss anything, maybe when creating a distribution.
