#1571 sssd_nss intermittent crash
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by jhrozek.

I saw a crash on my laptop running the latest git HEAD:

0x35925 raise /usr/lib64/libc-2.15.so
0x370d8 abort /usr/lib64/libc-2.15.so
0x22a6 - /usr/lib64/libtalloc.so.2.0.7
0x22d4 - /usr/lib64/libtalloc.so.2.0.7
0x361f talloc_get_name /usr/lib64/libtalloc.so.2.0.7
0x583b _talloc_get_type_abort /usr/lib64/libtalloc.so.2.0.7
0x1be25 nss_cmd_initgroups_cb /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss
0x3ca67 sss_dp_get_domains_callback /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss
0x3b3d4 sss_dp_internal_get_done /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss
0xc5da - /usr/lib64/libdbus-1.so.3.5.6
0xf7aa dbus_connection_dispatch /usr/lib64/libdbus-1.so.3.5.6
0x65ee2 sbus_dispatch /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss
0x7d20 tevent_common_loop_timer_delay /usr/lib64/libtevent.so.0.9.17
0x73cc - /usr/lib64/libtevent.so.0.9.17
0x4040 _tevent_loop_once /usr/lib64/libtevent.so.0.9.17
0x41cb tevent_common_loop_wait /usr/lib64/libtevent.so.0.9.17
0x6d718 server_loop /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss
0x9906 main /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_nss

It was a use-after-free bug in the subdomains discovery. A crash is serious, so I've put it into 1.9.2
