#122 Use of "color-tests" Automake option breaks build on RHEL5
Closed: Fixed None Opened 14 years ago by sgallagh.

I recently added the "color-tests" target to AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE in the server directory. This breaks the build on RHEL5 (which is using automake 1.9.6)

I do not think that this is the full description of the problem.
I think the right description would be: the build should utilize gettext functionality at 0.14 level or higher. RHEL 5 has 0.14 version of gettext so any functionality that relies on later versions should be removed and the build should require 0.14 rather than 0.17 in configure.ac.

This is one of several bugs in the build system I've discovered for RHEL5 today. I will open separate bugs for each of them.
