#1174 sssd.conf has wrong defaults for the "command" parameter
Closed: Fixed None Opened 12 years ago by jhrozek.

Reported by Marco Pizzoli on sssd-devel:

The manpage says the default is sssd_${service}, but it's in fact ${libexec}/sssd_${service} which expands to absolute path pointing to /usr/libexec/sssd/sssd_${service} by default.

We should either fix the defaults or remove the command parameter altogether.

The 'command' option is not supposed to be in the manpage at all. It's intended to be an undocumented feature for development only.

Please remove it from the manpages and instead create a wiki page of developer tricks where we can mention it (for things like running valgrind).
