#1 Remove Express and use Cockpit as a replacement.

For the next version of SLIM ( v 2.0 ) , it would be better to replace Express by Cockpit.
The two big benefits are to use the Cockpit embedded Web Server and its authentication methods.

Key-based authentication or Cockpit bridge could be used to connect to remote servers.
