#20 Explore possibilities to enable community to create exceptions
Opened 2 years ago by polcak. Modified a year ago

As asked in https://github.com/polcak/jsrestrictor/issues/172:

There are known pages that are broken by JShelter. We could enable the community to share exceptions for the protections. There are at least two possible ways:

  1. Create a wiki or a part of the web page where users can post their configuration, we can add instructions how to import the configuration using advanced options or prepare a UI to make such import easier.
  2. We can distribute exceptions with the extension itself or allow users to add external lists.

https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/js-shield/2022-04/msg00008.html: Michael will make a set of wiki pages on libreplanet.org that we can use like the GUIX and IceCat projects do. Example: https://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:Guix/Wishlist

#83 is a good example of a page that we would add to such a list atm
