This is quite important!
So a script that takes in some conditions (like country matches United States or release matches Fedora 24) and then it will close all tickets matching these conditions?
Yea - we usually get too many tickets per month, and we mass close ones that are more than a month or two old.

Seeing as old trac requests are in-essence all mass closed. What all does this script need for requests point forward?
Regions: NA,APAC,EMEA,LATAM any others??
Request age: < 1 month, > 1.5 months??
Assignee?? -- Does request have a regional assignee?
Is Assignee active? - Tie into the metric and auto cleanse mechanism from the old trac, where stale contributors ( < 1 request/mo fullfilled, or regional assigness/mo == equal spread)
anything else?

Just a thought:
There should be a way to prevent or block a ticket from being raised when a criteria is met. For example the maximum amount of media a regional/local responder can handle. Once the number of tickets for that region meets the criteria, future requests for that region get a polite auto-response.
