Heading says it all. The new attachment mechanism introduced in 0.2.0 is not supported in the JSON api.
Given that we seem to focus on the new script API, I think we should consider deprecating this API and close the bug as WONTFIX
Indeed, json api is being deprecated slowly in favour of more simple plugin mechanism
