#29 Magazine article cards
Closed 5 years ago by amitosh. Opened 6 years ago by wildflower.

The magazine cards can be listed in two ways:
- Read article
- Unread article

The card permits the user to view content, author and date.
The major CTAs include reading and sharing.

The magazine icon itself leads the user to the list of magazine articles on fedora.

@wildflower there are too many articles to have read and unread options. I don't find them useful.

@wildflower, it will be nice to have posts images as well, as images tells more about text. Also, I too think read/unread might not be that useful. Thoughts?

@a2batic thanks. As of now there was no feature for the images, and hence I proceeded without one. I also think images would prove beneficial. They make the story telling better.

After much contemplation. I think you're right. There might be too many unread/read articles; and subsequently this feature might go unnoticed. Also, not everyone is interested in reading all the articles.

+1, we can Introduce no. of reads, likes and comments beneath the snippet of each article. Thankyou @jflory7, for this the tag information. It will be really awesome to have tags, because sometimes user would like to check articles just about events or something.

I picked up this from #1. I think these features might prove helpful. I'll work on them today.

Editorial.jpg

I have made the whole magazine into an editorial blog. The blog contains all the articles from various sources with a thumbnail image, date, author name(s), and tags.

The new feature added here is to add a draft to submit. The eco-system for this would be similar to a blog website. The whole aim to create this feature is again to make the app more interactive and engaging.

You can view rest of the flow on #1

hi @wildflower
Instead of adding articles from medium here can we include it in social since fedora mag has articles approved by the community ?
thoughts?
