Following a lengthly investigation into the viability of using Forgejo or GitLab self hosted as a replacement for Fedoras git forge needs, the Fedora Council believes that Forgejo is the best solution for the project to migrate to.
This ticket is to record the formal voting to approve the decision to migrate Fedoras git forge to forgejo and sunset pagure.

While we know there are some concerns about forgejo as a bug-tracking solution, we can build that bridge when we get to it.
I'm excited for this!
Whatever is discussed about bug tracking, I really want to make sure Fedora preserves Bugzilla history so we can search. Either by having a read-only BZ instance for searching only or by importing data in to a new system. I don't want that data lost.
