Potty. The proposal looks very thorough and well planned. Nice work LATAM :)

I'm also quite satisfied with the number of organizers listed--many hands make the work light. The costs for airfare are less of a concern for me than is the transit from the airport to the venue. The cost (1-2USD/person) is not prohibitive, but the logistics of renting and driving all of the vehicles could require lots of volunteer cycles. I think if we can request UNAP or UANCV buses with their own drivers, that would be the easiest.

Let's flesh out that part of the proposal a bit more, but otherwise, I'm feeling very positive about your bid.

Thank you all for putting in the time and effort, I cannot wait for FUDCon LATAM again this year :)

I'm +1 to this proposal.

We discussed this at the Council meeting yesterday (https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/teams/council/council.2016-02-22-18.00.log.html#l-52) and everyone else was also +1, so this is approved.

There were a couple of notes... first, the budget link is dead in the wiki -- that obviously needs to be fixed. And second, Remy would like to see more details about travel from the airport, which does seem important. Thanks!

Note that when we approved this (see meeting logs above), it was at a budget of USD 9226.12. As of right now, the budget page says $15,807.73. Given the overall budget (currently under discussion!), I think it likely that we really do need this to stay in the $10k range from the Fedora community budget. Hopefully, additional sponsors can make up the difference.

The organizers are clear that the budget is 10K USD. They actually got extra sponsors to cover any aditional expense. The difference on the budget page was just an estimation of how much the budget will increase in a positive scenario of funding all Fedora contributors present on the pre-registration list. Hope this clarifies the situation. Regards!
