#448 Election Interview Questions (F38)
Closed: approved a year ago by bcotton. Opened a year ago by bcotton.

In order to move forward with the next election, we need to determine which questions the Council would like to have asked of candidates.

We need the Council to please identify the questions before 2023-05-10 so we can properly communicate them to candidates and so they enough time to answer them.

In case the selection is not complete by the deadline, I will use the same set of questions as the last election cycle:

  • Why are you running for Fedora Council?
  • What do you see as Fedora's place in the universe?
  • How can we best measure Fedora's success?
  • The Council's primary role is to identify the short-, medium-, and long-term goals of the Fedora community and enable the project to achieve those goals. Right now, we are working on a new plan for the next 3-5 years. How will you help?

Some additional questions are listed in the wiki, or you may come up with new ones.

I've created a topic on Fedora Discussion for this ticket.

Please keep this ticket focused. Discuss there, and record votes and decisions here. Thanks!

In today's meeting we agreed to the following questions:

  • Why are you running for Fedora Council?
  • What do you see as Fedora's place in the universe?
  • How can we best measure Fedora's success?
  • The Fedora Council is intended to be an active working body. How will you make room for Council work?
