#398 Use of Fedora logo
Closed: deferred 2 years ago by mattdm. Opened 2 years ago by gengns.

Dear members of Fedora project,

I hope my message finds you in good health, my name is Génesis García Morilla, I'm a huge fan of Fedora and freedom (open source & open knowledge). As a senior developer I have also helped with many open source projects.

I am writing to you because I would like to sell Fedora stickers for laptops and Linux computers. It's hard to sell stickers, but If I finally manage it... I intend to donate part of it to my favourite open source projects (5 euros per year are 5 euros ^^)

May I ask for a written permission from Fedora Council to use the logo? Of course I will not refer to it in any official way.

"
...you will need explicit permission from the Fedora Council to sell non-software Fedora...
"

I promise to make good use of it, I have seen that there are people who already sell it but I would like to be able to do it with the consent and approval of Fedora Council. I'm not a company, I'm a simple person, software engineer, just a geek ^^

Thank you so much for your time.
Please, enjoy the rest of your day.

Génesis García Morilla
