Hi Council,
FESCo has approved a PR that merges/updates/rewords the 3rd party repo policy in https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2416. The change is https://pagure.io/fesco/fesco-docs/pull-request/34#request_diff.
This implements https://pagure.io/Fedora-Council/tickets/issue/289, i.e. allows 3rd party repository definitions to be shipped on installation media completely disabled. This policy is also aligned with current practice of shipping cisco-openh264 codecs by saying that fesco may allow enabled-by-default 3rd party repositories to be shipped.
See the commit list for explanations and justifications for individual changes. There isn't anything to do, this ticket is to give you a heads-up.
Thanks -- good to know.
