#298 Is somebody reading the Code of Conduct tracker?
Closed: resolved 3 years ago by mattdm. Opened 3 years ago by churchyard.

Hello. I have opened a private ticket at https://pagure.io/CoC/issues and there was no reply in 3 weeks. Is that to be expected?

It is not to be expected. You should get a response much faster than that. I will relentlessly badger until you do.

Sorry -- that got lost in the middle of a bunch of other things. I have responded.

In general, a personal email to me or to Marie is better for situations like this, because this queue deals with regulatory concerns like GDPR and sometimes-legally-sensitive code of conduct situations, so it invokes a lot of process which isn't always great for a speedy resolution of a social situation.

We'll do better on making sure that reporters get an acknowledgement in the future. Even though resolution may sometimes be slow, we know it's important to know that your report has been received and is being looked at.

Can we add this info to the CoC, so other are aware of this? Maybe add an e-mail alias for this to simplify it?

Please do. My ticket wan't a very serious one, but if I a person is getting harassed/attacked/etc. and they file a coc ticket and there is no response in weeks, I can imagine they'll leave, especially when newcomers to Fedora.
