We have some budget to organize a Mindshare FAD, which is the best solution to kick this initiative off successfully. The plan is to not make this FAD happen before Mindshare is in place, but to organize it soon after it is operative. Organizing it now would be too difficult to get people together, and we would also not know concretely what Mindshare needs to get further.
Instead we should put in place Mindshare from the F27 release cycle (see ticket #142) and let people sort out the first things, see how we can collaborate with FAmA and understand where Mindshare needs to be improved to work as expected. Therefore a FAD should take place in the first 2 months of 2018, when we all know these things and can effectively, face to face, solve problems and other issues.
While Mindshare will have appointed seats, I have in mind a starting team I'd like to propose to the single teams to see if they agree with them, otherwise we will take to the FAD the appointed (and elected) members. Those would be:
Ambassadors are already well represented by other members too, but with Justin and Jona we would have also Diversity inputs.
As we have many people from EU and I am not able to travel much around in this period, the location could be in South Tyrol (Alps - my home) or even in Milan (mailga), which is more comfortable for people who will fly.
As I said above, I am filing this ticket to get your inputs and eventually advice people already of this FAD, to see if they would be available or not.
+1, ideally before March 1, 2018 as billing this to this FY would be super!

This FAD is approved within the Mindshare budget ($9000) and as we have some remaining funds in general, @robyduck should work with @bex if there are needs beyond this. Getting this off the ground is very important to Fedora, the Council, and me personally. :)

@nb I suspect this will be possible with appropriate reasons. I believe those reasons exist.
This is even easier if you become an appointed Ambassador rep to this group (hint hint :D)
