I've combined the new mission with text from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Overview and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Foundations. I might pull in some other content from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Leadership and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Vision_statement as well.
I'm hoping I can use our new docs tooling to present this, rather than the wiki, so please don't focus too much on the formatting.
This looks pretty good. I feel like any changes I suggest now are bikeshedding. I'd like to continue to ruminate on this with the council and the community as we working on how we share this outside of the project and how this impacts the project.
I am +1 to shipping this on the new platform along with moving all linked pages.
