Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"): You attended EuroPython 2017, the largest Python conference in Europe
Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this badge is awarded for certain kinds of activities:
1) What are those activities? Attending EuroPython.
2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers? veterans? users? sponsors?) Event attendees.
3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)
4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?) 9 - 16 July 2017
5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the console? by using a web interface?) By scanning the QR code, or visiting the badge award URL, or by manual awarding from a badges admin or event lead.
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts? - the official logo - last year's EuroPython badge

Hi @tadej, do you by any chance have an svg file for the logo?
Hi @mleonova,
I wasn't able to find it online so I wrote to EuroPython's helpdesk. I can also ask the organizing people on-site.
@tadej thanks, that would help a lot!

This should be fixed now! Not sure if @tadej is already able to award the badge or not, though.

I didn't know that we had this badge for EuroPython 2017 and I would love to have it :) This year I was an attendee and even a speaker https://ep2017.europython.eu/conference/p/jona-azizaj
Hmm... I don't think I can do that yet but I'm not sure since I haven't done badge awarding yet. @jflory7, how could I obtain the secret link for awarding the badge?
@jonatoni, I haven't announced this yet since I wasn't aware the badge was already done. I just saw that this ticket was assigned to @sayanchowdhury on Jul 22 and I thought it would be enough to follow this ticket to see the badge was created...
I will award you the badge when I obtain the rights to do it.
@tadej, if you have the rights, there should be an awarding UI for you at https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/europython-2017-attendee once you log in.

@pviktori, thanks for the tip. No, I don't see the awarding UI at this URL so I guess it means I haven't been given the rights yet.
@sayanchowdhury, could you give me the rights to award this badge?
@tadej You should now be able to award the badge manually or create a link as @pviktori described above. I'm going to close this ticket as complete, but if you have any issues, don't be afraid to drop a reply.

@jflory7, thanks for giving me the rights to award this badge. I confirm that I'm able to award the badge now.
To spread the word about the badge, I've written a blog post that's been posted on Planet Fedora and I'll also write to the Fedora Python mailing list.
@jonatoni, no problem, I've just awarded it to you.
