#451 Kernel Tester VI and more
Closed: Pushed None Opened 8 years ago by cialu.

What the badge should be granted for: Completed run of the kernel regression test suite

Badge description: You have regression tested your kernel

Anything else we need to know:
Why did Kernel Tester Badge stop at level V aka 50 runs of the kernel regression test suite?
Maybe we could do more badges of this series, about 100, 200, 500 runs?

I made some concepts based on the existing kernel badges.

@cialu, these look good! Can you upload PNGs of these files and comment them in the ticket so we can see the progression all at once? Thanks

I uploaded the png files. I made the 100, 200, 500 and 1000 kernel tester versions working on the original ones.

I think the 100 one is just about perfect, but i think the ones above that, the bubble quantity and placement is too much. We don't generally break out of the frame, and when we do in the badge artwork, we do it with a bit more subtlety - i think that many bubbles pushing the frame is too much and it kills the effect.

I like how the last one has more tubes. what if you did the progression with tubes and kept the bubbles the same as in 100 in all-

100 1 tube
200 2 tubes
500 3 tubes
1000 an erlenmeyer flask

Thanks Máirín! It's a pleasure to receive suggestions from you.
So, I keep the 100 as is and I'll work on other based on your inputs.
Cheers.

Maybe, the third tube and the erlenmeyer flask should stay over the tie.
Or not?

I modified the 500 and the 1000 pictures putting the tube and the erlenmeyer flask over the tie.
