Hi Elio! Congrats on creating a badge) Right now I have a couple concerns: you modified the logo way too much. I'd suggest keeping the proportions and possibly, colors they provide in their branding manual. That might involve separating year from the logo and putting it, for example, lower on the badge.
Please copy the gradient background directly from badges guidelines (see pdf for that) https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/attachment/wiki/DesignResources/styleguide_3.f.png

then we'll review it again! cheers!

Hi mleonova!

Well, I am organizer of the conference and I also created the logo and the branding guidelines myself, so I'm probably not compromising the styleguide which I created myself hehe.

I was told we had some flexibility with the gradient, but I can use the original provided one in any case. Attached is the updated one with the logo in white, as the gradient made black and red look quite bad, as the contrast was relatively low.

Is this okay?

Awesome! Looks much better now. I'd suggest to maybe go a little further and make gradient darker like so, so the logo would stand out more. Also moved it a bit to give it more space. Does that make sense?)

The image linked to your file is broken so I re-put it on template, attaching the file to the ticket.

Looks good to me. Try getting it approved by at least 1 other designer, too (for example, gnokii or riecatnor).

Hey all - we need a .png export of the OSCAL'16_ml.svg file (with all the right margins/properties) before we can proceed with pushing it out.

elioqoshi, your account should have rights to:

1) directly award the badge to people, and
2) create qrcodes and "invitation links"

You can create the qrcodes from the badge page when logged in. Remember to set the expiration date for after the conference is over, so the qrcode remains valid for the duration.

If you need any help, please get in touch with any member of the sysadmin-badges FAS group.
