What the badge should be granted for:
People who spent overnight work to push the heartbleed update, they deserve our appreciation for that
Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):
Thanks to you, Fedora heart doesn't bleed anymore ;)
Anything else we need to know:
Since we can't automate the attribution of this badge, here's a list of people who contributed:
Robert Mayr, Kévin Raymond, Dennis Gilmore, Robyn
Bergeron, Paul Frields, Major Hayden, Kurt Seifried, Kevin Fenzi, William
Brown, Nick Bebout, Adam Williamson, Joachim Backes, Pádraig Brady, Lokesh
Mandvekar, David Strauss, Joop Braak, Michael Cronenworth, Till Maas, Mattthew Miller
For the badge design, it could be inspired from the "sacred heart" iconography (just for the pun, since it's a bleeding heart ;))
There's also already an existing logo for the bug: http://heartbleed.com/
Maybe a comination of the ghostbusters cross-out with that bleeding heart?
I was not sure what category this would fall under.. Development? Community? Misc?
I couldn't find FAS usernames for William Brown or Michael Cronenworth.
Other than for those two, it has been pushed out and awarded: http://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/heartbleed-buster
If anyone has their FAS usernames, feel free to add them here.
Huzaifa Sidhpurwalla (FAS:huzaifas) coordinated release of the heartbleed fix across all distros, including Fedora. He was even in the news for this. I believe he ought to be awarded this badge too.
Thanks siddhesh. Done!
