I am a bit skeptical about the year on the badge - there is no name (or logo or something) of the event there, so noone know what the year is related to - there will likely be no kart event next time, so we cannot just use this badge and update the year.

I think in this case you may not be able to reuse this badge, so this event got unique artwork! Yay! Hopefully the graphics will be able to be used in the future for something. I think that not stating outright what the badge is for is okay. Is there any logos/preexisting artwork for this event? I could exclude the year altogether?
