What the badge should be granted for: Wrangling all the election details for one Fedora election cycle.
Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"): You managed one Fedora election and survived.
Anything else we need to know: I'm not sure whether this would be something that could be automated - perhaps detecting a tag on the fedora election page identifying the wrangler?!
Who determines who gets to be the election wrangler? Is that ordained by the infra team? by the FPL?
In a few months, we'll have the ability for select people to award badges by hand (so, the FPL will be able to award badges X, Y, and Z.. the leader of the docs team will be able to award badges I, J, and K.. etc.)
I'm not sure there is an official policy regarding how this is done but it has been approved by the Board in the recent past at least. Someone volunteers for it, usually after having their arm twisted by the previous election wrangler and the Board agrees the person is well suited to the task.
I can have the Board formalize that some if it helps.

I am not sure about the first draft of this design and for now I can't think of a better concept. If someone has a better concept I would be happy to work up the art.
Possible artwork concepts: Panda lassoing a ballot box. Panda with a straw hat, cone megaphone and pince nez glasses. Panda looking at a watch with a ballot box. Cat wrangling- cats in perfect rows with a panda blowing a whistle.

The badge looks great!
I'm no longer a board member and am not sure how they are selecting an election wrangler now. Probably need to check with them at this point and find out if it is still a volunteer at least.

I found this while searching. Election wrangling is handled by the Fedora Program Manager. While I'm always happy to add more badges to my collection, this is one we probably don't need. I propose it be closed.
