Make a badge for hosting a mirror of Fedora. It could be a few levels as well. Example: fedora-enchilada vs. fedora-buffet
Set triaged to 'yes' for all tickets, as I've hit them all already.
just put types back in, we'll try and handle bugs here too, no new trac.
Just a note -- this is awesome.
Its going to require that mirrormanager provide us an API to be able to ask for the list of FAS accounts for mirror admins on a cronjob.
Better, would be for mirrormanager to publish fedmsg messages when mirror admins are changed so we can build a trigger.
mdomsch is into implementing that for us. We should just follow up after a time and report back here on the status.
The code to expose the list of mirror admins has been written:
But it has not been released and deployed yet. I'll email the mirrormanager maintainer mdomsch to see what he thinks about doing a release to unblock us here.
Looks fantastic Marie! Great work! Setting the badge to artwork approved.
I haven't received a response from the mirrormanager maintainer mdomsch yet. He is likely busy.
Deploying a whole new release of mirrormanager is no small task. A lot of things depend on it.
Instead of deploying a whole new release, I could create an infrastructure 'hotfix' that just adds the change we need. That would have a smaller impact and break potentially fewer things.
That said, we're in the final freeze period before the Fedora 20 release during which time we try to change a few things as possible in Fedora Infrastructure. I'll wait until after the Fedora 20 is released and generally available before proceeding any further here.
We got the list of mirror admins; all thanks to mdomsch! https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/mirroradmins
Code for this badge is imminent.
