Ack, and FYI we do use 5.2.1 upstream and downstream, it just wasn't updated in the local DS specfile.

Oh, then it's bad news :( And my statement about 5.2.1 fixing ns-slapd issue is not correct.
I need to do more testing...

I did implement this in the Fedora upstream builds, no complaints so far. This can be pushed unless you have other concerns @vashirov

There is still an ongoing investigation. In the meantime overriding page sizes seems to be a reasonable workaround. So no concerns from my side.
