Both gcc and clang provide memory and thread sanitizers, see https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Instrumentation-Options.html https://clang.llvm.org/docs/MemorySanitizer.html https://clang.llvm.org/docs/ThreadSanitizer.html
We should be able to use them in addition to address sanitizer.
