#47961 RFE: look into using gssproxy to manage the server ccache
Closed: wontfix 3 years ago by spichugi. Opened 9 years ago by rcritten.

gss-proxy (https://fedorahosted.org/gss-proxy/) is a service which can manage GSSAPI requests for a number of different purposes.

One of these is to maintain separation between a process and its keytab. gss-proxy can intercept all GSSAPI requests and manage access to the keytab and ccache on behalf of the caller. A nice side-effect is you no longer need to manually manage the ccache anymore.

See https://fedorahosted.org/gss-proxy/wiki/Apache for an example of how this would probably work in 389-ds.
