Closed: Fixed with Explanation 3 months ago by kevin. Opened 3 months ago by ykarel.

Hi, centos-cert -u ykarel fails for me with on Fedora 36:-

[+] 20240308-20:21 centos-cert -> Validating user [ykarel] with realm [FEDORAPROJECT.ORG] against https://fasjson.fedoraproject.org
[+] 20240308-20:21 centos-cert -> We can reach [https://fasjson.fedoraproject.org] with realm [ykarel@FEDORAPROJECT.ORG], so now asking for TLS cert ...
Generating private key...
Generating CSR...
Uploading CSR for signature...
Error: could not sign the CSR (400: Failed to authenticate to CA REST API, {'message': 'Failed to authenticate to CA REST API', 'code': 4016, 'source': 'RPC'}).
[+] 20240308-20:21 centos-cert -> [ISSUE] : Unable to retrieve TLS cert

Can you please check what's wrong here?

There was a security update last night for tomcatd, and it didn't restart cleanly after that.

I have restarted it now and it appears running.

Can you try again now?

I'm hoping this is all working... at least it works for me.

Please let us know if you still see an issue.
